Schüssler Natural Sunscreen contains antioxidants, natural skincare ingredients and organic oils, which protect skin from sun damage and skin aging processes. It is skin-friendly and waterproof. Also, it is ideal for irritation- and allergy-prone skin. It can be used from 3 years onward. It is a broad-spectrum formula, which protects against both UVA and UVB rays, meaning that the UV filters in it deflect the rays away from the skin. Zinc oxide and titanium dioxide are naturally occurring compounds that deliver protection against the full UV spectrum. Chemical sunscreens, on the other hand, only absorb UV rays and often contain potentially hazardous synthetic filters for the skin.
The Schüssler Natural Sunscreen is specifically developed for extremely sensitive skin and can be used on both body and face. It contains the Schuessler’s tissue salt Natrium chloratum that can restore the skin's fluid balance thus providing long-lasting hydration.
The main ingredients of Schüssler Natural Sunscreen
The essential Schuessler’s tissue salts
Schüssler Natural Sunscreen contains the Schuessler’s tissue salt Natrium chloratum that is responsible for regulating the fluid balance of the skin thus treating dehydration on the tissue level.
The cold pressed oil of grapeseed nourishes all skin types, according to their own characteristics, exerting its beneficial effect where needed. It boasts an arsenal of vitamins, flavonoids and antioxidants. It smooths and nourishes mature skin, regulates the sebum function of oily skin and makes dry skin soft.
This is one of the most ancient natural skin nourishing remedies. Enriched with ingredients (e.g. Vitamin E, polyphenols, and antioxidants) that nurture, nourish and regenerate not only skin, but also nails and hair. It is a versatile ingredient that can help your skin in many ways:
- it moisturizes
- it can fight pigmentation disorders
- it helps regenerate skin after damage caused by UV rays
- it reduces inflammation
- also strengthens the connective tissues and has skin tightening properties
- it has antibacterial effects
- it supports the skin’s protective mechanisms
Avocado not only is a heavenly treat for our taste buds but also considered a superfood. Avocado oil is pressed from the fruit pulp. This natural skin-, nail- and hair-care ingredient absorbs quickly and is loaded with precious nutrients. It has a remarkable vitamin A, B, C, D and E plus Omega-3 fatty acid content. Apart from hydrating and softening the skin, avocado oil reduces inflammation, regenerates skin and acts as a natural sunscreen.
How to use
Apply the sunscreen on all your body parts (e.g. arms, legs, face, neck, décolléte, feet, etc.) to be exposed to the sun before going outdoors, sunbathing or exercising outside. Massage it into the skin and repeat the procedure every couple of hours or when needed. Remove the residue from your skin before going to bed.
Why choose physical sunscreen?
Physical sunscreens, that is, products containing zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, are considered safer as they do not absorb in the skin. They do not cause allergic reactions, so it is safe to use them on small children. Those with rosacea-prone or very sensitive skin are strongly recommended to choose physical sunscreens. They are the only safe alternative for those allergic to chemical sunscreens. Physical sunscreens deflect the rays from the skin and protect from UV-A and UV-B rays. Be sure to use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with UVA and UVB protection, with an SPF of at least 15 to 30 factors. The Schüssler Natural Sunscreen SPF 20 contains zinc oxide and titanium dioxide thus guaranteeing a broad-spectrum protection for your skin. In addition, it is an all-natural formula!
What is the difference between physical and chemical sunscreens?
There are many pros and cons to consider when choosing between a physical or chemical sunscreen. Chemical sunscreens absorb UV rays and protect against sunburn at the cellular level, while physical UV filters deflect them.
Chemical sunscreens are absorbed into the skin, unlike the physical creams that appear to form a thin white layer on the skin. Despite this minimal "unpleasant" effect, physical sunscreens provide full UV and UVA protection.
We did our best to minimize this effect to leave your skin free of any white layers only a couple of minutes post-application.
